Elegant Wedding at Villa Buonvisi in Tuscany

It was an honor to capture the elegant and refined wedding of Mimmi and Alex, a wonderful Swedish couple, at Villa Buonvisi in Tuscany. Mimmi, who works in fashion, and Alex chose this stunning location for their special day a villa with 500 years of history and ties to Napoleon Bonaparte, who is said to have visited occasionally. With its frescoed rooms and grand halls, Villa Buonvisi provided a timeless backdrop for their celebration.

The couple embraced simplicity, opting for minimal decorations to let the villa’s beauty take center stage. Their understated, yet sophisticated approach perfectly reflected their personalities graceful and elegant. Mimmi, with Italian roots, was surrounded by family, including her beloved Italian grandfather, who attended the wedding. Sadly, a few months later, he passed away, making the photos from that day all the more meaningful.
