My style of wedding photography is documentary photography: straight and natural, no poses but real life moments. I have a “fly on the wall” perspective, and look for candid moments, raw emotion and spontaneity. My images will always reflect the truth of your day, shot in a timeless, artistic way.

I love taking pictures of people because people are the most interesting show of all to see!Life, and the people living it, are made of inspired moments and situations and I hunt to capture the most interesting ones.

Wedding photography lends me the opportunity to see and preserve once in a lifetime moments during a beautiful day in people’s lives. It allows me to feel their emotions, their gestures, their spontaneity.

I love to capture all those overlooked details and in-between magic moments most photographers miss that the couples and their loved ones create. I also like to mix real life moments with very few naturally timeless portraits (lasting just 15-20 minutes).

I live in the Tuscany countryside between Florence and Siena, but I love to travel, and would be willing to reach you any place in Italy or the world depending on where you want your love story to be told. My native language is Italian, but I can speak English, and a bit of French and Spanish. I’m not afraid of planes, trains, automobiles, boats or any other means of transport.

Documentary style doesn’t always guarantee the presence of all the people taking part of the wedding day to be in the photographs. However if you would like a photograph with family or specific people, it would be my pleasure to give you these memories. If this is the case, please make me a list of the guests you want to include in the group photo.

I work both alone and with a second photographer, it depends on the event. For little events with few guests I prefer to work alone to keep the intimacy of the situation. For big events and long duration I need a second photographer: it is useful to tell what happens in the same time (the getting ready of both bride and groom) and to have two different points of view during all the moments, furthermore to be a supporter.

During the time leading up to the wedding day, I will ask you some questions about you: this is my personal approach to photograph the couple. It will be nothing too difficult, and I will explain it more over our Skype consultation.

Two weeks before the wedding day, I will send you a questionnaire to ask for the exact schedule.

For longer sessions (8 hrs+), I will need to eat something during the wedding day; however it is up to you to choose the menu for me.

I do not have a limit on the number of photos I take. Depending on the event and what happens I usually take more or less photos. A selection of the best photos will be edited and processed to tell your wedding story. (ex. 4,000 photos taken for 12 hrs and 350/400 edited ones, 1,000 taken for 4 hours and 100/150 edited ones, etc. + all the original photos taken)

I will give you all the digital photos in high resolution JPEG and will send them via weblink or usb drive.

I am the only one that will be there capturing your wedding day from beginning to end, so I will choose and edit the photos for your wedding story.

Depending on the time of year, I typically return your story within 2 to 4 months.

I highly suggest to book as soon as you have fallen love with my photos and decide you want me to tell your story! The best time is now! 

Photography and memory are the only things from your wedding day that will stay alive through time, and choosing the photographer should be done with attention and emotional impact.

Usually people book a year (or more) in advance, however prime dates go very quickly!

The photo service will be booked by signing contract and paying a deposit.

I do not record videos, however I do have some recommended video makers with whom I usually work with that I would be happy to suggest.

 I prefer the traditional wedding album with photos glued to the pages, I work with a great design-album company 5punto5 (www.5punto6.it), however I can also provide digital wedding album, the final decision is yours!
